I can’t believe it’s already 1 year since the best night of my life. I can’t forget the moment when I was showering and my mom screamed: Patty!!! Lady Gaga is coming to Chile!!!!! And I was like: WHAAAAAAAT? I was so happy she was finally coming to Chile! A few months later, I came back from school and the prices for the tickets were out. I was screaming. I didn’t have any money to go to the pit, so I bought a cheaper one, I wasn’t that close to her but I heard her so well and I could saw her from the screens. The 18th of August the tickets were out, I was watching all monsters from my country on the TV making infinite lines to buy the tickets. It was crazy! The tickets were out in the morning of that day, and I had them bought around 6 pm. When my aunt called me saying she already bought the tickets ( because the tickets were sold in another city, where my aunt lives) I was the happiest girl ever, I was screaming and hugging my mom. The 20th on November felt so far away, but it came faster than ever. The night before the concert, I couldn’t sleep anything. I had a bus to catch because the concert wasn’t in my city; it was in Santiago, the capital of my city. While I was on the bus, no one could take away my happiness, in a few hours, I was going to be watching and hearing my queen, my idol, my mommy monster, I was going to be hearing all the songs that I loved. So, I get to the city, I waited for my aunt, and she told me that I was going to see Gaga with a cousin, not with her, and that was even better because she was only 3 years older than me. When we were getting to the stadium my heart was beating so hard, there were people with costumes, with incredible make up, dressed as Gaga. Everything was amazing! (The picture in the middle is me with two girls dressed as Gaga) We get to the stadium (And November in Chile is almost summer, so imagine how the sun was hitting on my face) and it was so full of people, the screens were showing the ‘’ Fame’’ commercial, and every time Gaga appeared there, we all screamed, it was so cool. Gaga was 30 minutes late (#LateyGaga). The sky was already dark. Suddenly the lights went off and my heart stopped. The first song I heard was Highway Unicorn. The day of the BTWB was my best friend’s birthday, and one of her favorite songs of Gaga, is Judas, so when she sang Judas, I called her. It was the best gift ever. When she was about to sing Telephone, she saw a little girl dress just like her, and she called her to stage. They both ‘’ danced’’ telephone. It was the sweetest moment ever. I’m never going to forget in Bad Romance, when she said ‘’ Santiago Romance’’ I screamed soooo hard every time she mentioned Chile. In one moment, the monsters from the pit started to throw away all the gifts for her, one of them was a little box full of pictures with the monsters camping 16 days for her. She saw those pictures, and called those fans to stage. Two girls and two boys. They’re the luckiest persons ever. She sang Hair with them on stage, and y’all know Hair acoustic is really emotional. I’m not a really sensitive person but I almost cried during Hair. I was so happy for those monsters that met her on stage, and also kind of jealous (good jealousy). And then, Marry the night came, and the concert was finished. I bought some posters outside and then I jumped in the car. I fell asleep on it, Imagine: I slept like 3 hours the night before, woke up at 8, I screamed, jumped and sang for 2 hours. I was so tired! My throat hurt so much that I had to drink a tea with honey and lemon before I went to bed. It was 03:00 am when I fell asleep and I woke up at 07:00 to catch the bus. Yes, I looked like a zombie. On my way home, listening to the songs wasn’t the same anymore. I didn’t feel the same after the concert. Listening to born this way after the concert wasn’t the same that before the concert. Everything was different. I felt so many feelings through her voice while singing it that made me realize how meaningful it is for her. That was my story of the BTWB in Chile, AKA the best night of my life.
