POP and ART seems to be finally united, the music seems to have found his balance in the eternity of time. The material is ready, the marble is almost completely carved but something still doesn't go as it should go. It is managed to combine two forces until now distant but close at the same time. We all live on the same planet , seemingly close but distant at the same time. As a classic Disney princess, Gaga (in this case the symbol of each person) is alone in space (the world, the everyday reality) searching for her " why". Why do we live? What do we face ? Why I can't stay with the people I love more if we live in the same planet? Gaga is in the space (each of us seems far away as the other planets) and gets help from a sweet and modern Tinkerbell (the person out of the metaphorical cocoon unable to find a point of union strong despite the distance flying with wings of imagination / art / love). I dedicate this work to my best friend Alexs, which has always helped me, believed in me , believe and will, to Maria Rosaria, which I will be eternally debtor, to the great Mary, Jesus (part of me too) and Marla (for the dress I've used some flowers because I know you LOVE them), three extraordinary people who would not be enough thanks . I dedicate this work to all those who believe in me, to those who have never believed in me, to those who don't understand my being an artist and those who even know me. That your minds may be always ready and create, create and create without ever stopping. ARTPOP has always been an enigma for me, when art becomes the personification of you , person, when a pop culture around you influence you to the point where , when , out of the cocoon , face the world alone, only then live ARTPOP. I dedicate this to Marina Abramovic (which I have not met in person ), but whose students have been so special to appreciate some of my works. See you at the next work!
