Hello there monsters, well I am typing to u all to discuss about the #DWUW single/promo-single dilemma and the monsters two-faceness lol.... In the beginning, #Gaga announced her 2nd single, #VENUS. She's been posting lyrics and doing her regular promo stuff like she usually does. However, out of no where, she changes things a little, and announces Do What U Want, a promo-single for #ARTPOP. So as Gaga's promoting this song and stuff, everybody was excited and pumped for the release, like we usually are of course. Right before the release of DWUW, she gives everybody a short little snippet to pump us up once again. Once again, everybody loved it. Next, its the big release of DWUW, and everybody loves it, and it obviously shows with it shooting to the #1 spot on iTunes in less than 24 hrs, in 30+ countries around the world (I bought it of course, and love it! :D). Now, this is where it gets interesting for #Littlemonsters. This success of DWUW is great and peachy, the fans and "non-fans" love it! Numbers wize, its excellent. However, Gaga announces on Twitter today that because of the HUGE outcome of DWUW, its now officially the 2nd single for ARTPOP, and from the looks of it, Monsters are not happy (Im not one of them. Well I am a Monster, just not a mad one lol). Everyone is now mad for some odd reason that DWUW is the next single, and Venus, the song we have yet to hear mind you; the song with no sales or feedback from others, is not the single. Why is that? That is a chinese riddle to be honest... Also, Why are people mad at Gaga because "#Interscope" made her to choose DWUW as the quote on quote, "wrong single"?? First things first, who even said Interscope was involved in this decision making?? Well at the end of the day they kinda are, but it is having a tremendous success on the charts, yet its the wrong one,even if Interscope was involved or not?? Monsters are starting to look two faced here, really... You guys (Not saying all of you), would rather put a song, that the general, close-minded public, may not receive to on a positive, creative level (Not saying thats the case. Just thinking about the possibility) .Opposed to a song that has physical evidence that it is receiving WELL with the people?? Now, us as Monsters, its going to be bias for us to say that Venus is going to be awesome, which all of her music is (Once again, a bias statement).But for all we know, Venus (hoping and praying not) could flop, kinda like #MTN did late 2011. I loved MTN!! Im surprised, and just recently found out (yes I know, shoot me.) that MTN did pretty bad on the charts. So with the choice of these two singles, Venus and Do What U Want, one song we have yet to hear, and the other that is doing great with the public, we should go with the most smart choice people, DWUW! One last thing, Monsters are really looking two-faced when they say, "OMG, YASSSSSSSSS DWUW IS AMAZING!!!!!!!!". "GAGA SLAYSSSS ON DWUW!". Yet, everybody is hating on Gaga and her smart business decision making?? Its either you like something, or you don't people, can't be picky here... Like my mom would tell me when i'm indecisive about something, "This ain't Burger King, you cant have it your way"! Calm down folks ok? :) P.S #BUYDWUWONiTUNES!!!! Lol ;D UPDATE: I am OVERWHELMED with everybody's comments and the huge likes I'm getting on here!! Thank you all for sharing your opinions and feelings on this "debacle" with not only me, but our whole community! I hope I can get this post to the front of LM so monsters from all over can open their eyes, and look at the bigger picture at hand. And I would DIE if Gaga saw this post!!! I really hope she does because I want her to see that there are some true and honest monsters out here that knows what is best for not only her, but everybody else as well. Thank you all!!
