This fashion film is a pitch to Lady Gaga, the woman who has guided for the past 5 years me more than I could possibly explain. I feel it is my ultimate goal in life---my destiny...my obligation, even---to become a member of her creative team and be a videographer for her, much like Steven Klein is right now, who is a huge influence on my style of eye. Gaga has allowed me to discover myself and my passion and without her I can say with certainty that I wouldn't have the motivation or creative resources to make such a fashion film, and I hope that, if she sees this, she sees my potential, for she is the reason potential is there for anybody to see in the first place. She is truly the light in my darkness (or in my dirty mirror...) and I feel that she and I would make a collaboration of a lifetime. Her artistry fuels me every single day through her music and music videos, so to be on the same set as her would be a truly magnificent event, where my creative ideas and hers meet in the lens of a camera and explode into something larger than anybody could contemplate. The meaning of "The Look" is ambiguous. As a creator, I enjoy being vague; I'm not a fan of creating an artistic presentation and dissecting it by telling everybody what it's about and what to think of it because then that only allows for one interpretation of the piece. When you watch this film, I want you to interpret it in whatever way you choose, no matter how out-there it might be. As a viewer, you are as much as a creator as I am. Come to think of it, I'm really not the creator at all: I'm just the messenger. I deliver the work to you so that you can interpret it freely without prejudice. My opinion does not matter.
