Gaga should start her own record company, I mean she is a very savvy business woman. Then she could have complete & total control of things. At least that's what I think anyway & I think she'd be brilliant at it.

It's Jimmy Iovine who's calling the shots here... Sure Interscope has given Gaga all the creative freedom she wanted but at the end of the day if Iovine thinks another song will be better as a single then Gaga has no choice but to listen to him. He is her boss after all and he is running a business, which means that it's really all about money for him. If you remember he's the one that pushed for Applause to be released as the first single. Gaga wasn't even gonna put Applause on ARTPOP, she wanted Venus from the very beginning.
