Every year on National Coming Out Day, we celebrate coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender or as an ally.
There is no room here for intolerance; only love. Show your support today.
We don't have to show anyone anything!
We are gay, the heterosexuals are heterosexuals...
When we introduce ourselfs we don't say Hello I'm ... and i'm gay!
That coming out story is NOT necessary.
What I love about Lady Gaga is that she shows me how to be brave and embrace whatever I want to be. Other people who have inspired me and whose writings I recommend are 'Like Me' by Chely Wright, 'Unbearable Lightness' by Portia De Rossi, and 'Love, Ellen' by Betty Degeneres. These women and Lady Gaga strive to embrace themselves and show us the importance of self love and being open about who we are. We are born this way, so come out and be free.
I know so many of you say you can't come out, but you can. I thought the same way at sacrificed so much of my early twenties being miserable and insecure. Is it terrifying to come out and embrace yourself? Yes. But it is liberating and it showed me how I was hiding other parts of who I am and not fully exploring all the possibilities of who I could be.
well done bill. im not gay im just bisexial. i haven't com out yet. to some of my family i told. but not my whole family. but my family is pretty easey going that way. they may not like it but they understand. my real problem is thinking about strangers on the street if they judge me for wearing some perfume or if i wear some bracelets that look kinda girlish. but if any of those people want to pic a fight against gays or lesbians. by all means pic 1 with me. on the street ill tell ya . ill smash them so bad.
Gosh... Luckily I am out now, but I think about it daily. All the people who don't come out or can't come out because of their families or the government etc. :(
