The Fame was hilarious and fun, tongue-in-cheek with bold ideas about consumerism and superstardom. The Fame Monster attracted all the doubters; she knows what she's doing, and -- didn't you know? -- she's sort of making fun of us. Born This Way was a dramatically optimistic follow-up, rekindling the self-esteem of The Fame but without the demons of the Fame Monster -- a misunderstood call to self-love as the real solution. And ARTPOP? It seems like a question posed to critics of BTW. Why can't pleasurable, beautiful pop music -- the thing that makes Gaga GAGA -- be respected as a valuable part of our lives, as valuable as "art"?
(Continued again) so to wrap up because I have been a bit windy...the queen soul is in the BTW album the cover the clothes the concept...it showed Iconic stature that no one will ever match and I thank gaga for letting us experience this with her...I miss the BTW era but look very forward to ARTPOP because I know she would never let us down and that she is in love with her craft...and that is what is so beautiful about this artist, that is why I love the music that is why I love Born this way and that is why I love this woman...so to answer your question Born this way is my favorite :)
(continued) and While I love both previous albums and all the songs on born this way...Gaga's best work for me came at the end of the BTW album with the Edge of Glory...TEOG is one of gaga's best pieces of work to date...the power and the meaning and the emotion in that song are breath taking. At times when Clarence's solo comes to an end and the music calms right before the final chorus I become over whelmed with emotion and get tears in my eyes because I feel the music and power of her beautiful message. Born this way saw me though some dark dark times, and many happy ones as well, there isn't one song on that album that doesn't have a memory attached to it... so for me born this way is who lady gaag is...she stands for what she believes in and what she loves..and she loves us...
yes the fame was amazing, yes the fame monster was incredible. But Born this way...born this way meant something to me...and it meant something to gaga. Born this way receives a lot of harsh criticism for being pretentious and too dark. But the artist that is gaga truly emerged for me when the born this way era began. Gaga became a woman in front of us...and a strong powerful queen...the message of born this way was the right message whether or not the critics liked it or not, and that is why she did it and stuck by it proudly...and the tour was incredible...the live performances of Hair and Born this way are so emotionally charged and powerful and it shows a true connection with an audience that I have never seen between and artist and their fans before.
Well I just went really knows Mather Monster in Born This Way, and even today I am Little Monster, she wanted both came from The fame. But Born This Way really help me overcome several barriers ... Thank you Lady Gaga.
