Me too! Its such a strong performance. I mean people say they have seen better but honestly. At the end she danced alone and she was showing the world that she doesn't need dancers or any props for her performances to be great and it fitted really well with the song.
Now I get what direction she is going to with ARTPOP why all her performances lack the stage props etc here is what she said: "For ARTPOP, I, in the most metaphorical explanation, stood in front of a mirror and I took off the wig and I took off the makeup and I unzipped the outfit and I put a black cap on my head and I covered my body in a black catsuit and I looked in the mirror and I said: 'OK, now you need to show them you can be brilliant without that. And that's what ARTPOP is all about.Because I knew that if I wanted to grow, if I really wanted to innovate from the inside, I had to do something that was almost impossible for me."
it was good but the stage just wasn't set for her... the lighting, camera work, the glitter..... it wasn't her best, really, but it wasn't entirely her fault.
The only thing that let it down was the camera work, they hadn't listened to what she told them she was going to do, so she was always performing in a different direction to the camera!
It was a rough draft to me but manly because of the staging not because of her who sings great in live as always and dance not too bad with a funny choregraphy :) The piano part was really short and barely audible when the glitter rain was too much for me...The way she is filmed during this performance is also nearly hiding some of her dance moves so that was wrong coordinate with the director's show... But i love this performance. <3
I worshiped this... the dancers were amazing, the choreography one of the best we have seen from her ballet - the Botticelli Aphrodite was magnificently recreated with the Gaga Dancers
