The name Queen of Pop fits Madonna simply because she's been here more than any other and she also never stopped. She kept working, releasing albums, achieving awards. Cher stopped for a long while, Donna Summer, many others were huge names back then like Katy, Gaga and Britney were back then but now they faded away, but Madonna's still topping charts with her tours, debuting at No.1, getting Billboard awards and being Forbes' No.1 moneymaking celebrity of 2013. When Katy, Gaga, Britney and the others last for 30 years with such power and have strong points like Ray of Light and Confessions on a Dancefloor were in later stages of her career, then we'll see if they're fit for the comparison or deserve the title "Queen of Pop"

No one deserves that label. They all make their own kinds of music. Different formulations of pop. So every pop artist is unique in their own way. You can't place every artist in a category with a title. So give these posts a break??
