She honestly opened herself up to someone close making herself exposed weaken there's somewhat of a innocence gone (symbolized by the nudity visually) then she was deeply hurt (symbolized by the wrecking ball) and therefore fell apart. I find this video to be very beautiful You see naked, I see vulnerable. You see licking, I see yearning. You see swinging, I see dependence. Sometimes it’s not all about what you see.

I respect her, but please , because of her and other artist, i see the trend that we talk less about gaga herself, her art, and even less care about Applause music video.
