i want to thank my dad and all of your heros for keeping this beautiful country safe. when the news broke, my dad, who works for the nypd, called my mom telling her that he was in building 6 and shortly after they hung up, that building collapsed. we did not hear from him for awhile and i remember my mom crying. i was only 6 so i didnt know what was happening. later that day, to our suprise, he came home. this time, the tears were out of joy. last year, on a show about 9/11 i saw my dad pulling over buses and helping people get on so they can drive to safety. my dad is my hero and helped saved lives that day, as did many others. first responders and families who lost their loved ones will in my thoughts and prayers today
