It's been years now, that GEMA is blocking most music videos on youtube in Germany. I know, there is unblocker software like "Youtube Unblocker" or "Proxy"...but, why do we even need it? Gaga, do you know, that german monsters can't watch your videos on youtube just like that? Gema blocked even (and thats the hardest thing) COVER VIDEOS. They don't want us to see people singing famous songs. We made a school video some years ago, with the song "hollywood hills" in the background. GEMA BLOCKED IT. Our school video.. What's wrong with them? Gema gets money from every radio station, every club and anything that's with music. Gema is so expensive, that many clubs in Germany think of closing. Just closing, because they don't know how to pay GEMA. I just wanted to watch APPLAUSE video, YOUTUBE HIDES IT FROM ME!! I have to ask monsters to send me the link, because youtube does not show me the video when I am searching for it! So Germans have to use an addon or go to another video website. Even the APPLAUSE lyric video on youtube is blocked by GEMA. BTW it's not only with your videos Mother Monster, they do it with every song that's on the radio. German people are not allowed to see all of the videos on youtube, because of GEMA. I know, GEMA is for the artist, GEMA protects the artist and so on. BUT: I don't think the artists know what happens!! Gaga, do you know that nobody in Germany can watch your official musicvideos on youtube without any illegal unblocker software?? Is it that, what an artist wants?? I really don't think so. And I hate it so much, my hate grew over the years, nobody is doing anything because of this problem, because there are other music video sites. But, if you just think of the views.. Some lands don't count there. I wonder, why it works between YouTube and GEMA in all the other european lands.. Germany is the last land, where we need an agreement between the two parties. They have been fighting for years now. For example, when Austria got its own YouTube the cencorship was away for them.. This is a german problem. So, please, Gaga, tell me, what do you think of GEMA and of their right to block all the videos and cover videos? Do you know know about it? Maybe we could start a discussion again in Germany, if you speak out...
