I became a little monsters because of Born This Way (Album). Weird but my obsession with GaGa started with Judas.

It's not that she consideres BTW era a bad turn,she just portrayted how she was treated during that time,it was her second album and it has done so much for her career (record breaking etc.) but she was still called a flop.

Oh, and BTW ball grossed $180 million with 99 shows played. The Monster Ball grossed $220 million with over 200 shows played. Clearly, BTW ball was bigger. And finally, the MUSIC. Marry the Night, BTW, Government Hooker, Scheisse, Americano, You and I, Edge of Glory, Heavy Metal Lover, Electric Chapel, Highway Unicorn, Judas, Bloody Mary, Fashion Of His Love, Black Jesus... (I really don't like 'The Queen'). I might be JUST a LITTLE OBSESSED. :P My ARTPOP could mean ANYTHING, bitches.

The white robe is a throw back to her Bloody Mary clothes on the BTW Ball. If she did think that about BTW, why would she throw all those reference at us? 'I am my hair' before Swine, 'Born This Way' in I Wanna Be with You. Calm your tits she is proud of Born This Way. That album was the one that really connected to people. Besides, BTW was one of the biggest selling albums of 2011, just behind ADELE's 21. The song BTW sold over 1 million copies in the first 7 days of sale. A six week chart topper. Two other singles ENTERED in the top 10. One single entered at #12 (Hair). Plus, if not for 21, she probably would have won a Grammy or two as all three of her Grammys were lost to ADELE. 5 million+ copies sold till date. More than half her album sales are contributed by Born This Way.

i don't think she considered it a bad turn,it was the general public. i think the album was amazing,the culmination of her creativity,but she really shouldn't have tried to sell it as 'the best album of the decade',when the decade has just begun.

she had done her best in every single album and why on earth she would do such a thing and over 6 millions of BTW sold was a flop????

BORN THIS WAY WILL NEVER BE LOW BROW [GA]_[GA] it was a beautiful experience & it wasn't a fail or a flop! maybe it was for the rest of ppl who cant appreciate her Art,for me it was PERFECT! u_u artistically it was the most challenging thing she has ever done (now ARTPOP is trying to go even further,i love that & is working fabulously!) but back then it was her best effort, an struggle to bring opposites together (like now is ART+POP) but in that case it was very hard to bring them together, to make them belong, it was light vs dark,truth vs lie, Good vs Evil,past vs future,sad vs happy,reality vs fantasy, completely different songs&concepts in one same place/time:album. As diverse as she is&as we the fans are,very different from each other, BTW did good job with what it had, it wasnt easy

i don't think she meant that it was a bad turn, per say, but that it was hiding alot inside her. clearly, she has been through some shit, came to the fame era, started to find herself alot during Monsterball, and got almost lost during BTW. it's not a bad thing. sometimes, when finding yourself you get more lost than you've ever been. and she seemed found, to us, because it doesnt mean she is not confident, and searching is still getting closer than ever. she has landed on ARTPOP.

Born This Way is not a failure, without this album I would have killed myself.

Gaga never said she viewed born this way as a bad turn she said that the PUBLIC did.

My fav song is "Nothing else I can say" but I love BTW and I'll love ARTPOP
