Numbers are BULL$#!T

I don't care if Applause is not a #1. I don't care if we don't break a VEVO record. I'm not going to buy 50 copies of anything. I will not play a video on loop unless I actually want to watch it again. Records are nice, but music is what matters. We thank MM with our love not by breaking records and I ASSURE you, she feels the same way.

I just wanna enjoy her music, I support her by buying her album and singles and maybe watch her music video a few times occasionally, I did my part, the rest is up to Lady Gaga on how she plans to win back the mainstream crown.

agree with this post. why do you kids these days think an artist can stay #1 for eternity? the best artists change/evolve and with that there will be times where mainstream appeal will not be attained. chances are the artists themselves know it too. quit freaking out just because she's not #1. if that's all you're worried about then you're not a REAL fucking fan. a real fan sticks by an artist and loves ANYTHING they put out regardless of how good its doing on the charts. what happened to the fans that actually LOVE the MUSIC? FUCK breaking records.

I prefer healthy gaga rather than a gaga who is on top all the time FOR US and is near to death... watch the final btwb, She will probably never be on top again in numbers but she will be on top by being important to a lot of people having an emotional value that numbers can't beat

What's with the double standards? every time Lady Gaga is No.1, everyone acts like she's ruling planet Earth even if it was just an Instagram or Twitter record. But when Gaga can't do that, everyone is either like "I don't care about numbers, they don't mean shit" or "What the fuck is instagram? what the fuck is facebook?" Why is it every time Gaga is unable to reach a certain goal, that goal becomes worthless but when she does, it's used as a way to prove how she's better than her fellow artists and others "faves"

No numbers are NOT BULLSHIT. We dont actually care for breaking records BUT SHE REALLY NEEDS TO GO PRETTY GOD DAMN GOD on sales so Interscope continues to do music with her. Guys put urselves together, she may not need money but her company does, in order to make better and high budget music videos and produce cool music.So numbers are important

imagine one day you see a Gaga video with only 100000 millions of views and totally not in people's topic...i mean come on! Gaga works so hard for this and if she doesn't get what she deserves. She would probably be extremely depressed (i'm sure if Gaga's depressed we would) I respect what you said but I hope you will still respect my opinion :)

I think we can safely say her career is firmly planted and i don't think she needs the numbers, its doesn't effect her in anyway except the 10% she earns from the video being on youtube after youtube take their cut then interscope taking their cut i dont think she needs the numbers, she just signed a deal to do a private new years eve show on roman abramovich's yacht for $2.9 million thats how she makes money private shows and expensive front show tickets not youtube vids
