A moment to talk about Marc (MarcMonster)

I'd like to take a moment to talk about one of my friends, Marc. I've known Marc since 2010 when we were hanging out after the Auburn Hills monster ball. We went together and he met gaga for the first time, and I my second time. It was a great night, and since then, I've been very happy to see him meet her since then. Marc gets an absolutely disgusting amount of hate for doing something you all would do if you had the chance. Just because he happens to live in areas where she visits a a lot (LA/NYC), doesn't mean that he is a bad person. I also don't like when people use the excuse of him "being rich" or "having money" and then blame him for it. I do pretty much exactly the same thing as Marc. We wait outside, we sacrifice time and effort in order to see her, and yeah, we pay money to be able to travel. However, when you bully someone because they meet her because they're "rich", it's a lie. I have had jobs in order to do this. I work extra hours, I save up, but also pay for things I need in life, but I also put forth some money towards gaga things I want to do. I worked hard and saved money for 2 years in order to go to the 19 BTWB's that I was supposed to attend. Have most of you even met Marc? Those of us who hang out with him actually know that he is extremely kind, caring and helpful. He is not pushing anyone, he is not "taking away others chances". Gaga knows him, and just because she recognizes him and decides to take a photo with him, why are you mad at Marc? It's not his fault she loves her fans. Marc has helped several people I know to meet gaga for the first time. When you see all the tweets saying "Oh...I met Marc and he's actually nice", it's because he is. If you want to meet gaga, save your money, do your research and sit down outside of wherever she is for hours. If that's not something you are able to do because of age, location, or life situation, there's no reason to bully and be rude to someone else just because they can. Please feel free to discuss in comments. No straight up hate, just conversation, I'm genuinely confused as to why such a nice kid gets such HATE. I realize it's mostly jealousy, but still. It's unacceptable.

Im sorry, I think this is the only time I've ever disagreed with you Jamie. He said some pretty disgusting things about my deceased boyfriend over Lady Gaga. Thats pathetic and I swear to God if I ever see him out I will beat him into a pulp.

While every person has their good days and bad, it should suffice to say that Marc has been rude and intolerant to a very close (older) Monster friend of mine. Even going so far as to insult his age (aren't you a little old for this) and insinuate that waiting to meet Gaga showed he "had no life" even though Marc was there waiting also. He may be nice to some, but I have also seen tweets where he was directly bullying other Monsters, without being bullied himself. If he was as nice to EVERYONE as he is to a FEW people, there wouldn't be so much hate directed toward him. If he followed the Golden Rule and stuck to Mama's message, I guarantee he wouldn't be hated (so much). Just my own observations, please do not take them the wrong way.

I bumped I to h very briefly after the BTWB in Phoenix and though very brief he was very nice. I apologized to him on behalf of all those that are so mean to him and I can genuinely say that he doesn't seem bothered by it at all. He knows be has done nothing wrong. It is those that hold jealousy and hate in their hearts that will suffer in the end. No H8 BREED COMPASSION

I have to say, I am also in NYC and have never met Marc but have seen him at Gaga events. I'm a SAG-Equity actress who makes a living as a Gaga tribute artist when not doing film/theatre work. I find his photos a great resource for keeping my wigs and costumes current. Marc seems like a sweet kid who loves Gaga. What's wrong with that? We all love her and that's why we are here. I have seen disgusting behavior from this fan base in the way that they treat each other. Gaga would be horrified at much of it, as this is not her message. It's easy to wait to meet her if you live here and if he want's to do it 200 times so be it! With the way everyone treats him Gaga needs to take the poor kid out for some shots of Whiskey!

I totally see your point. Of course if we had the money, and in my case, didn't have school we would all do it. I can't hate on him for that, and I won't. I saw him in London when I was waiting for Gaga for the first time, and I saw her. But I have to be honest, I had waited longer than him and he got a photo but I was shoved to the back of the crowd. Im not saying it's his fault, because it isnt! But Im just saying, this may be one of the things the hate comes from.

THANK YOU FOR THIS. I've never met Marc but I know that if Gaga loves him then he's a real monster and a lovely person, like all of us! I see you dedicated fans who gets to meet her out and about as ambassadors because she tells you things that you share with us later. I am genuinely happy for those of you who have met her several times, and I can't wait til I do the same. I don't have a lot of money to do so, but I'm not sad. I'm just grateful that we have dedicated fans that can spread info and pix of Gaga for all of us! I would never hate a monster or be jealous for meeting Gaga. Only if they rub it in your face and be like "Haha I'm a bigger fan than you I've met her 6843514354 times!" THEN I might snap because that's mean. But eh. Paws up for everyone! ^.^ ARTPOP!

I'm happy for him bc he is just another monster who made his dream become true. So, even tho I'm jealous (in a good way) and all of us are, not only of him, but of all the monsters meeting her everyday; I'll keep following my dreams and trying to meet her until I can't fight anymore. Just tell Marc that he is so lucky and that all the hate he receives isn't from all of us.

jealousy is ugly thing. i know almost all monsters would do same thing as marc if they lived in us and got money. putting his money and time to meet his biggest idol doesn't make him bad person at all. i can't stand how people are hating him because he got something someone else is still dreaming. his dreams came true and it's a pity people can't be happy for him. that is something i call dedication and i salute him for that.

I agree with you. But, NOT judging, just asking: I heard that he said that brazilians are monkeys. Is that true? I dont believe thats real, but if its true, its really sad. I have nothing against him.

Thank You for your story. It's nice to see some Monsters on here still remember what it means to be a true Little Monster. I hope this story gets spread around here alot, it may help others who are confused for god-knows-what reason.

You're a very good friend to Marc to post this. Of course we're all a little jealous & wish we could do what Marc does! But you're right that people shouldn't attack him for doing what we all wish we could do. I think it's cool Gaga has formed friendships with her fans😃that's why she's so special to us! Props to u for standing up for your friend😉
