Miley cyrus grew up in Tennessee, was a cheerleader, privileged, already semi famous and she says this is the real her? She's adopting a culture that isn't even hers and doesn't know the bad (or worse) image she's giving it. I like her and prefer the new miley...but don't try and say this is the real her an she was trapped before. She's always done what she wanted from posing topless, dancing on a strip pole, and partying. #truthtea

I think it's really interesting that everyone seems to have all these absolute opinions about a girl they don't know and have never met. Don't make assumptions about things and people you know nothing about. You're not her. Therefore you don't know.

You should all re-read yourselves. People said these things about gaga years ago (they still are) and we saw through that to the woman behind the aura ;) Gaga also taught us as Little Monsters to not judge one another. Miley's a huge fan of Gaga and was empowered by the same things we all were. How many of us have posted naked photos on this very site? Body revolution! Also, she is a great artist. One strange performance and you've all thrown her away. I'm seeing a strong woman with a weapon of a body and she's proud. And I'm a Miley fan!

I wish that too a girl being free doesn't only mean having explicit suggestive attitude, I wish it goes further like being involved in noble issues and speaking her mind. That's the way to freedom to me.

I don't get why so many people are like "She's doing it for attention", or "She's trying too hard to be someone she's not" and things like that. The worst thing is that little monsters are talking that kind of thing, don't you hate when people tell you "You are doing that for attention" "that's just a phase, you are going to regret it later"??? Do you (all the people who are saying those things) really think it's different just because she's famous? I'm sure no one likes hearing those kinds of things so don't so that to someone else.
