The others weren't twerking on a married man at the VMAs. She's become this girl who is trying to shake the image that Disney gave her, and she's doing it in all the wrong ways. The others (Britney barring; I haven't listened to a lot of her music) aren't selling their music on the concept of sex. Yes, Gaga has a song called Sex Dreams, Katy Perry has E.T., but that isn't their image. Gaga is this artsy type who does what she wants and makes statements in her music, often political and social, sometimes at the same time. Katy is this cute Christian girl who got a taste of the wild side she has and likes it. Miley Cyrus is trying to shake her Disney image by twerking on a married man, licking a hammer, and riding naked on a wrecking ball, all while having her tongue rolling out her mouth.

i don't hate miley but I don't like her style... I don't know why...I respect her career and her music though... 1st. Lady Gaga is an eccentric artist so for her it's so simple. 2nd. Katy Perry doing that but she's so sweet...She doesn't cause anyone. 3rd. Rihanna is Rihanna. The concept of the video was like that. She was "taking a bath". I agree with Juan. She used to be a children's star for Disney. and MERCY she's still 20... Thanks and that's my opinion so respect :)

The nudity in her video is no problem, the only thing I don't think is 'appropriate' is when she let her tongue, I think it has nothing to do with the music.
