my story
Hello monsters, I hope you'll read this letter and that you will help me to show it to Gaga. Here is my story.
My name is Clémence, I'm 17 and I'm a "normal" person but which now live for a few years with a hearing problem. It all started with a simple ear infection, which has pierced my eardrum. Because of this, it was discovered that I had lost 50% of my hearing in the right ear. And then the doctor decided to get a transplant, which would normally make my hearing back. A few months later, we discovered that the hearing had not returned and that I had therefore lost 60% hearing in the right ear, blow for me, I was sad and I did not really understand what was going on, he decided to prescribe me a hearing aid for the right ear. Everything was going well until then, until I noticed I was starting to lose hearing in his left ear. We have been to the doctor, and he either did not think it was normal, so he decided to make me pass exams. Therefore, it was discovered that I had a disease called otosclerosis. This disease that usually occurs in women at the age of 40 years, and it is hereditary, so it's my mother who taught me, but she did not. The doctor told me that I had lost in the space of a year 30% in the left ear, and it was not very reassuring. I was very scared, but nothing is more frightening than what he told me afterwards. He told me at the age of 40 saw the progression of the disease, I could be completely deaf. If I write this story monsters, this is not to complain, but just to share with you my story every day make me more scared. I try to enjoy life, enjoy Gaga, listen to Gaga all the time, be careful to the sounds around me, and Applause gave me the courage to write this letter today. Another little sunshine helped me tremendously in this fight. There are now two years ago, my cousin, Andrea was born. She was born with a congenital disease that makes it 80% less hearing in each ear, and every time I see her, we learn all the alphabet in sign language. Every smile, every stupid it makes me, is a ray of happiness, it reminds me that life is still beautiful, and proves to me that at her age she is already a great fighter. And we must face this handicaps together. I teach him how to speak and each new word is a huge gift. I do not deny that I would be greatly honored that Gaga sees this post, because it is her who gave me the courage to explain my story to light, exposing, and without it, I perhaps would not have happened, and I would perhaps not accept this damn disease, every day makes me a little afraid. But the show must go on. I hope one day I will met Gaga in real and hear her voice for real, her sweety voice, I love her so much you know, she gaves me so much... Monsters, Gaga, Thank you to give me the bravery to fight the life. #Selfies #ME #personalupdates #mystory #disease #pain #sad #Gaga #LadyGaga #littlemonsters #applause #SelfPics #MotherMonster
