you act like this is some big ol' competition and that if we lose its over for Gaga's career. its not THAT big of a deal if Gaga doesn't get number 1. though I think she deserves it too there's no need to get so stressed or worked up about it. and also it shouldn't be as hard as you think. Gaga hasn't released new music like this in 2 years. lots of people love Gaga's music even if they don't like her as a person and will probably buy the song and stream it etc etc. its not just Monsters (; all we can do is what we can do...if Gaga doesn't make it to number one I have no doubt she will be in the top 10 if not the top 5! "if not, well then I think it's over for Applause" now THAT is some rude sh*t. if Gaga doesn't make number 1 with Applause that does NOT mean it will flop.

Glad I downloaded Blurred Lines illegally. I wouldn't have paid for a song like that. It's not even that good.

At the end of the day, it depends if Applause is a good song, all is well if little monsters buy it, it just depends if the general public like it and go out and buy it. Blurred Lines is catchy and sticks in your mind. But I have every faith that this song will slay! So worry not fellow monsters, we have a worldwide number 1 here (fingers crossed)

Give it break. We have nothing to prove. Applause doesn't need to be a #1 to be loved. Blurred Lines is terrible. Nobody 'loves' it, yet its the biggest hit of 2013 (so far :P). #10 days.

The only thing is is that I don't buy singles .... and that's only because when I get the full album then I have 2 albums "ARTPOP" and "Applause Single" ... and I'm very anal about the organization of my iPod .... I mean I did it with Stupid Hoe bought the single and just dl'd the album so I mean I can definitely do it for Gaga, but I just hate buying singles .... lol
