Fake Applause?

So I'm quite confused. Gaga's tweet seemed to say that we have no yet heard the gong bang, maybe she's referring to applause. I know this sounds odd but maybe the applause single out right now is a demo put out to stop hackers from trying to leak the song. Earlier we got lyrics that are not found in the song so I'm curious if gaga removed them or if maybe just MAYBE we don't have the real applause song yet! Maybe we'll be getting more than a music video on 8.19 ;)

This one is very confusing. She recently posted this lyrics or whatsoever and there's "The Applause" written in the end. So maybe, this means that the piece she will perform on the VMAs will be a revamped version of Applause.

Gaga has tons of lyrics written..so maybe when she posted it she was thinking about putting this one on #APPLAUSE but then she just changed her mind

When she says "My song" I believe she actually means the whole ARTPOP album, or a message conveyed by the album

it could be like The Beatles Sgt. Peppers or Pink Floyd's Shine On You Crazy Diamond where there's two parts in different parts of the album

I figured it out! have you ever read a choose your own adventure book? what if ARTPOP is a choose your own lyrics album? that's why it took so long. she had to record different versions of each verse. we will be able to mix and match to make a diff song everytime!

artpops first single so simple?? that is sooo not gaga and honestly applause isnt much of a commercial material nor is it the kind of revolution gaga gaga described it before.....i really think that this theory is correct.....

When I saw the tweet I first thought its lyrics from Swine. About the applause lyrics... probably this is how her VMA performance will begin, like in 2009.

What if there are two versions? She did mention that the video is a battle between B+W and Colour for our applause. Maybe she has two versions coming out, one representing POP, the one we currently have and one representing ART, which we are still to receive... Reaching?
