I was reading an article earlier about their theoretical "battle" on the charts; although Perry is winning, the article called her out on depending on cliches and playing it safe. They were saying Gaga was being more risky, but may be alienating the general pop fans at the same time. She may be "winning", but at what expense? Gaga's making art.
