the only reason why BTWB was 24 shows is cos of her injury, if the BTWB was as many shows as TMB then it would easily quadruple her gross earnings from it. all these women are successful artists, RiRi and Katy performed more shows because they chose to do so.
You can't compare this.. The first mentioned ones were arena tours which means 20 000 people. Btwball also did stadiums which means 50 000 people. So it's not fair. And also, the btw ball had a lot more shows than only 24
BTWB was reasonably priced. For me in Germany it was 90€, exactly the same as other big, international artist charge. However, BTWB included the chance to get into the Pit without extra charging (Pit was first come first serve until it was full. Wasn't that the case for all BTWBalls ? I love the idea of handing them out on a fcfs basis).
So in the end, I paid the same as for other artists but got a much better show and a spot in the Pit. Couldn't have been better =)
its worth the price but still doesn't mean that everyone who wants to go and could go because they need that money for necessary items for them to live and pay the bills so everyone luckily enough to have that money should feel greatful because i wished i could have gone but there will always be more shows in the future <3
Well, I paid 99€ for my ticket, and in my country this is almost 1/3-1/4 of normal salary. I'm pretty sure that was the reason for poor ticket sales in my country (only 15 000 people in the outdoor venue that accommodates up to 200 000 people) . Everybody said it was way too expensive for us. A month or two before the concert, Gaga allowed to have extra cheap tickets for 49€ (all the way in the back at the concert venue). I myself am not complaining, cause I was willing to pay for my ticket, well actually my boyfriend did, and I wanted to go no matter the ticket price. But people who are not hardcore fans/little monsters, and just wanna see Gaga, because she's such a star, just wont go!
$80 for a monster pit show wasn't bad, imo. I know the tickets could get really expensive, but she doesn't set the prices - that's out of her hands personally. that's negotiated by other people.
Come on they are ALL overpriced, I love Gaga but I admit that I don't pay all that money for her music. I spent 79 € for Iron Maiden and they make music for two hours. There are a lot of bands that play free and make real music. Gaga is fantastic, but the band plays on a backing track, all the choruses are pre-rec and for me it's unbelievable to consider "unexpensive" a pop show like this. You pay for the show and not for the music.
I'm not a hater, I really love her (I wouldn't pay all that money for her if it was so) but she should be more sincere... pop music is made for money, you know.
