In my opinion (and I dont mean to be disrespectful to anybody) its a great idea because we need to teach our children that there is nothing wrong or rare to be homosexual. Now, there is a BIG difference between pushing our children to be homosexual and to TEACH them that there is nothing wrong and that what ever they're sexuality preference they were born with there is nothing wrong with it. Thats what we have to be careful with.
This may sound funny, but I had a crush on Aladdin when I was a little kid, when the movie came out lol ! I also had a crush on Jonathan Taylor Thomas (J.T.T.) from "Home Improvement" if anyone remembers him or the show *blushes*
It's gonna take a lot of time for Disney to go over that edge and produce a LGBT-movie. Disney is a super conservative company, and also very racist. Walt Disney used to be very racist, there are even confirmed rumors of him being supporter of Germany in WWII. But, Disney's on the right way, We have princes Tiana and her prince, but also Raven, Doc Shaw, Phil Lewis etc. So Disney is improving. It's just gonna take a while before there's gonna be anything LGBT-Disney related.
Me too! When I told my friends that disney should really make a movie with lesbian princesses or gay princes they were actually laughing. They thought that I was kidding. I'm 100% serious that disney should make that kinda movie so that kids would learn equality and that it doesn't matter who do you love. Excuse my bad english
Thinking back to my childhood, I would have felt so much more comfortable and at ease with my sexuality if TV and movies (particularly for children) would have featured more LGBT characters (as normal people). LGBT is absolutely NOT something children need to be sheltered from. Teaching children that LGBT's are "less than normal" or "taboo" is dangerous and needs to be changed!
