Brave For Gaga
Brave For Gaga
Oh man, there's so much I could say about how Gaga made me brave... So I guess I should start at the beginning, well, I was bullied in elementary school, not really sure why but I was and it made me really sad and insecure. So when I entered the 7th grade at a new school I was so scared. Fortunately that is the year Gaga appeared around billboard charts around the world. That's the year I discovered this amazing woman who wasn't afraid to be who she is. That was something I wanted to be and she quickly became one of my biggest role models. I didn't realize how important Gaga was to me until about a year and a half ago. That's because a year and a half ago I cut for the first time. Things got really bad at home with my family and also my friends and I turned to cutting to relieve me from my pain. I felt so sad and alone, like no one understood. That's when Gaga saved my life through her music and her many inspirational speeches. She kept me company when I felt lonely and her music became my security blanket. Whenever I felt like cutting I would listen to Gaga's music or her interviews and I would get through the night. Gaga made me brave enough to face my fears and conquer my self harming. Although I'm not completely self harm free, the problem is only about 1/4 as bad as it was before. Thanks to Gaga I'm healing and getting back on track to live a happy life. So I guess I just wanted to say thank you Gaga for saving me and being there when no one else was. You made me brave and I'm forever thankful for that. You've saved my life and I absolutely love you to pieces.
Paws up.
