I give a big thanks to all those who liked my Marilyn picture. NOW LET ME SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT. I DON'T GIVE A FUCK WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE OR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE ON YOURSELF. JUST BE HAPPY. EVERYBODY TO ME IS BEAUTIFUL. I DON'T JUDGE. ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME IS THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD SOUL AND YOU'RE HAPPY SO SMILE AND MOVE ON. Thank You! I am expressing myself through this picture and I was quoting Stefani. (monster ball)
It's unfair to call her sexier than skinny people. Like, just because you prefer this look it doesn't mean everything else sucks. And by the way, skinny does not mean sick so you can't call everybody who is skinny anorexic or bulimic. Get your shit together.
Plastic surgery can be a choice too...if someone doesn't want to be defined by their body, plastic surgery can be a release, as much as a curse to others. It's not our place to judge, or tell people no. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I don't think it's wrong for someone to make a personal decision to alter that, as long as they're doing it for themselves.
I apologize to everybody about the photo. Again I apologize tremendously to those who suffer from eating disorders. MY MESSAGE WAS TO SAY THAT EVERYBODY WAS BEAUTIFUL AND THAT YOU DID NOT NEED PLASTIC SURGERY TO FIT IN OUR SOCIETY.
What an ignorant person who wrote this picture! Pf! As much as I love Marilyn, don't use her for silly stuff like this. ED's are NEVER a choice. I struggled with one myself and I don't think I ever fully recovered. Show a little respect! I'm glad that so many monsters know better though. *reading the comments*
People are driven to body shame and mental distress because of our culture's obsession with sexiness above all else for women. Marilyn herself deeply suffered from being seen only as a sex object that the world was entitled to worship and assault and consume (I definitely recommend reading up about her life!). I understand that you made this image to help people accept their bodies but please think about how you're upholding a very narrow idea of a 'sexy' body and how people (especially women, and especially Marilyn) should be safe to love their bodies whether or not they are considered sexy by anyone at all! Before 'SEXY" there was something called 'enjoying being at the beach on a windy day," you know?
Anorexia? Anorexia is not a fashion statement. It's not a choice. It's an illness, that I suffer from. Also it's been around longer than you'd think. How about you do some fucking research before posting stupid inconsiderate hurtful things. On a site about "love and acceptance" And most of the time it starts from psychological problems rather than "the media" I'm tired of lm.com being so full of ED hate because people with eating disorders WE DON'T CHOOSE THAT SHIT! Mine started when I was fucking 12 yrs OLD
