This is true, it’s dangerous where we put art— nowadays it’s subjected to the criticism from social media and can be twisted and turned and misinterpreted into something very different. But scared where we make it— because it’s born from the pure desire to create. We channel our rage, pain, and desires into art. Whether it’s a song, poem, painting, or other medium, it’s our way of expressing what our hearts are feeling. When you think about it, this human practice of making art is so unique from other species and life forms. We make art not for basic survival, but for a transcendent spiritual experience. And that is sacred.
