both kind of have the same personality

as much as i do like that she appropriates him, if you were to tell anyone in the art world that you're inspired by dali, they would laugh you out of the building. he's kind of a joke. as much as he's respected he’s equally hated. his work is seen as a clueless attempt at seeming to connect with a movement he never fully grasped, and his subjects are rehashed, completely stolen ideas from freudian theories; not even taking the time to personalizing his works, but painting the thoughts as freud discusses in his “the interpretation of dreams”.... he was also a misogynist and an egomaniac.

I've been noticing that for years. Dali was obsessed with high heeled shoes and created surreal fashions with Elsa Schiaparelli, He did performance art before there was such a thing. He often painted telephones and ants. (N.B. "Formichetti" means "little ants" in Italian.) This poster would be even better if it included the Living Dress and Dali's Night and Day Clothes.
