That very noble of her. But I just feel bad for all the kids who have to suffer because the Boy Scout Organization can't be equal with everyone. The Girl Scouts accept homosexual boys and girls. Why can't the Boy Scouts?

My step brother is in the Boy Scouts. His real mom does not believe in gay equality. He has a derby race in a few weeks and I want to support my brother but I don't want to support in the Boy Scouts. What do I do? Do I go for my step brother or do I not go and dissapoint him?

I look thru comments and yes, there may be, some scouts that accept the idea. Of gays being in the Boy Scouts. But it isnt the majority. And the majority rules. Im glad carly has the guts and to be brave to stand for what she believes.

My only problem with this is that Train pulled out officially the day before she did. I feel like she's just hopping on the bandwagon. Like, "OH that's a good idea, I'm gonna do that" instead of it being her idea from the get-go. I mean, I'm glad she's pro-gay rights, but I can't help but feel that she's a follower, not a leader.
