Every year 150 billion (150,000,000,000) animals are confined, exploited, enslaved, tortured and murdered by humanity. Their basic rights are taken away from them in order to use them for food, cosmetics, entertainment, fashion and more. Just like humans, these animals want their freedom, to have friends, to protect their children, not to feel pain and suffer and most of all, they want to live. These days we can survive and be healthy without wearing fur and eating meat, eggs, dairy and honey. That's why I'm asking you to think if you really want to take part in the horrible things that humanity does to the other earthlings. I'm against the use of animals for entertainment purpose but...I'm not gonna stop eating meat...is the natural cycle of the life...and humans are omnivores ;) not vegetarians

It's not really bad to eat animals- this is seen in nature all the time. But I think the disrespect and cruelty we show our victims is wrong. I was a vegetarian for 4 years (as a personal protest against animal cruelty) and decided to eat meat again- but only those raised cage-free and cruelty-free. It's not that hard to find companies and farms like this. It's a shame how bad the meat and dairy industries have gotten. Unfortunately, organizations like PeTA don't do much to protect the animals. They're hypocrites. They aren't doing the cause any favors by videotaping crimes (opposed to stopping the crimes), vandalizing property and supporting terrorism. Their CEO is diabetic and the insulin they use is derived from animal testing. And their shelters have higher kill-rates than most others.

Totally agree with you. It's horrible to see what humans are doing to animals. This is not only our planet, we share it with animals and all creatures have the same rights. We need to stand up for them

I canot physical comment on every post, but I think you get my view point and that I am vegan for animal treatment and a healthier food lifestyle. It is great for lowering cholesterol, loosing weight, etc. After a while, you don't miss it. It brings to mind the guy who went to his physician and then ate ONLY fast-food at one chain for mont nothing unless it was from there three times a day, seven days a week. When he returned, his physician said that his liver was enlarged, high blood pressure, just out of sight, bad blood values! He video taped every thing and was an HBO special. It WAS an eye opener!!! Me? didn't change until two months ago. It was reality too.....no fake documentary! Just something to think about. My niece had one fast-food chain one meal a day. Her pediatrician stated

Oh and what most people forget is that we ARE NOT designed to eat meat! People get sick by eating meat, cancer diabetes 2 and heart disease.

I know animal testing is bad and stuff, but if it wasn't for genetic engineering on animals I would be dead. As I have type 1 diabetes which is where my pancreas stopped producing insulin. So that means my blood sugar levels would go high. It annoys me when people go on about animal testing because if they didn't test some things on animals half of our population would be dead including I, so maybe there is a little benefit to this even if some people find it cruel.

Thank you for posting xx -- I believe hurting animals is just a small step away from hurting people <3 people must be kind and show compassion to all living things. This treatment of animals is under no circumstances acceptable.
