I read this story on 9GAG, the only thing that I remember is that this little champion liked those shoes and his mom bought them while their family just criticised her for allowing him wear "girl shoes", not even his friends told him anything negative because they didn't have the "boy/girl standarts", the only thing that the kid said was that he liked them because the lines of the shoes reminded him of a zebra (I think so). It's really awesome how the innocence of kids can make adults reflect about their own ideas or stereotypes. And sorry about my english, it's not my native language :)
