This is a sonnet I wrote for a school assignment. We were supposed to praise something or someone we admire, so I wrote about Gaga, bien sûr! It is a rough draft, so of course I am open to any CONSTRUCTIVE and NICE criticism! :D Ode to Lady Gaga Your music is the music of my soul It captivates with each and every note Without your music, I would not be whole And so to you do I myself devote Live shows that are a spectacle to see With drama and theatrics intertwined Dances that never fail to amaze me And costumes of unusual design But underneath the makeup, wigs, and clothes A person, kind, and with a heart of gold By preaching love and tolerance she shows We can change the world, whether young or old And so no matter what her future plans I will always remain a faithful fan
