i went to the born this way ball with my best friend shelby lang in toronto on february 8th. we waited in line for 5 hours and had no idea that we were even eligible for the monster pit! we were waiting just to get good GA seats! we entered the ACC and a man pulled us aside to give us wristbands that said "bear" and told us we were in the pit. we immediately began bawling our eyes out and hugging our monster friends who also got into the pit that we had met in line. we ran into the pit where we waited for gaga and attempted to brace ourselves emotionally for what was about to happen. me and shelby were right by the entrance to the monster pit and gaga looked right at us and into our eyes numerous times. it makes me happier than i ever thought now that i know gaga knows what my face looks like and hopefully has an idea of how much i love her. i have never been brave in my entire life, until i met gaga. the born this way ball provided me with happiness and bravery i never thought possible. it gave me the confidence to be myself because i know that gaga will always be there to support me and fight for me. gaga also taught me to, and i quote gaga when i say this; "not give a fuck. not even black jesus has any fucks to give". i love you more than anything on this earth gaga, thank you for continuing to fill my life with joy, happiness and love as well as a light to constantly guide me out of my darkest times. i am now confident in saying i am proud of the person i am, and the person i am today was shaped souly from the values, beliefs, strength, bravery and love that gaga has taught me and provides me with everyday. i love you gaga, thank you again.
