I have loved Sylvia Plath ever since the 8th grade. My eighth grade teacher knew I'd love her and let me keep the Bell Jar. I also love her poetry. Sylvia Plath's prose speaks for an entire generation of women held down by their roles in society. I love her & can only imagine gaga growing up in such a traditional setting lead to her affinity with Plath and her frustration with society's norms.
