This one is very important for me, I'll try to explain you why. I made this after the concert in Milan on October 2nd. That day was the best and the worst of my life. I waited three days outside the forum, I conquered the coveted 'first line' of the monster pit but, before the show, I fainted. It was so horrible so I needed something to explain my actual status and I made this. I wanted to create something between the glory of the concert and the future (ARTPOP) and the chasm of that day (Kill the bitch in the picture) However, if you see, each symbol stands for a letter: The heel of Cinderella (A), Sleeping Beauty (R), Ariel's tail (T), the lamp of Aladdin (P) and so on. Well it's a sort of revolution, we can see each princess on the dark side/got high. I think that all my works have meaning, I put pieces of my whole life in my works. In this case ‘ARTPOP’ it’s the revolution at issue but in normal life the revolution is within our soul, our body, our life. We are and we make the revolution. I’m aware that this is not the most beautiful work but at the same time it’s the most important so far.
