This whole thing with the Osbournes is exactly what Lady Gaga was talking about in her open letter. When she tries to deal civilly with someone, a portion of us always attacks them ruthlessly. When all is said and done, Sharon would not have written the letter to Gaga if some of us weren't attacking her daughter. It doesn't matter how "horrible" a person she may or may not be. As a fan base, we can never hope to embody the compassion and kindness Mother Monster tries to represent if we keep attacking everyone who thinks differently from Gaga.
