Who I Am

Who I am is an important part of me. This is important to me because I’m not like other kids I’m different, in a good way. This makes school harder because I like to be myself. [I am who I am because I was born this way]. (1)[First of all], I am a killer dresser; I wear bow-ties and dress shirts every day. I sometimes get made fun for wearing what I want but, it always made me a stronger person. Dressing differently is expressioning my individuality. Although, that it expresses me as a person I also have great enthusiasm while wearing this. I wear what I like because it expresses my individuality and motivate me every day. (2)[Nevertheless], as I do express my individuality I am very quiet when it comes to peers. My mom says, I was a late bloomer in talking. This makes me see that the world is very diverse although, that I haven’t found the people I fit in with yet. I guess that’s part of high-school I guess. I don’t have many friends because I’m so quiet but, the friends I do have they are good friends. More friends doesn’t matter as long as you have good friends that’s all that matters. As, you can see I’ m highly quiet. (3)[In contrast], I’m very friendly which does help me. Being friendly will get you far in life, if your nice to people they will treat you with respect. Peers like when I’m friendly they always smile or give me a hug. Although, that I’m a good person there are some people that just want to make my high- school days rough. But, that’s okay this is like lesson. Be nice to people and they won’t be likely to tear you down. [Furthermore], I am who I am and I will not let anyone stop me. My is to become an Engineer like my father but I feel like writing might me a good job for me. For now I will try my hardest to succeed in school so that if whatever I want to do in life. That I make it in my reach, so that I can have a great life. [In conclusion], that I’m a good person all around. I think that I should stay like I am because in the future it will be the feature that everyone loves about. But, for now I will hold my head up strong and survive my 3 more years of high-school.

You and I are very much alike, back then and even now I'm like that and I'm twenty-one years old. I know life can be difficult, it can even be confusing and sometimes life gets difficult for us late bloomers. You are an individual and however things get remember your joys and loves. 1.I'm a pretty good dresser too but I have more of a punk rock type of fashion because that's what I love and am passionate about. Tons of people comment on how much of a hipster I look like, hello it's Punk! Some people think I'm a depressed individual because of how I'm dressed but I digress. It's all about looking good!

Is it weird for a girl to want to dress up in bow-ties and dress shirts? Because that's the way I want to dress up xD. Dude, continue going strong and be brave all the way! The way you wrote this, it inspires people deeper than you might think. And you may be quiet with your mouth but your words speak volumes! Being an engineer is great (my dad's an engineer too) but if you ever feel like there's some sort of supernova in your chest, get the nearest computer or get a pen and paper and write write write! I wish I could've met more people like you in my school but so far I only found one. But that's okay, one's enough for me :) Thanks for your note! It really warms people's hearts :))

you are just like me! It takes a long time for me to get along with other people and I also get frustrated because I find myself inferior than others :(

thank you for sharing your experiences. I can understand you. people see me as a shy, silent and asocial person. I just can't express myself. either they roll their eyes when talking to me or I don't have any interst in blabbering about outgoings,alcohol,drugs, sex etc. people expect that you act like them. just be yourself and don't care about the others. I go through the same problems. I usually hide myself in average clothes but today I decided to wearmy jeans with space print. many will probably laugh and think I'm childish, but I'm proud that I'm different and not snobby. don't you worry about being quiet. with time it will disappear. some people say that people who are more quiet are much more intersting and kinder to hang out with. I will keep my fingers crossed for you.

I am an engineer and I went through the EXACT same in high school, except I wasn't as brave and strong as you. I still feel SO insecure when I'm around my colleagues but you are so inspiring... Keep being who you are, YOU BEAUTIFUL MONSTER YOU!! xoxo #PAWSUP!!!

i loved reading this! i love that you are so young and already figuring out who you are,what you stand for and being proud!Not to mention your bow ties are amazing and you are adorable!! i'm a female (duh) and i always get shit because i don't dress casual....ever.i pump gas in my hooker boots.so i get stares and whatnot but i'm happy. Thanks for sharing,i love reading posts like this on here,it's what the site is all about.take care!
