I live 4 blocks from Joanne and go there often. The food is GREAT and every time I have eaten there the chef (Art Smith) was there. I met Mr. & Mrs. G, Art Smith and Natali (who is often the hostess). Mrs. G walks up to each table to chat! She is the sweetest most down-to-earth person! Art Smith is a total sweetheart. I have not yet had an opportunity to speak with Nat or Mr. G. The mac&cheese is AMAZING!! Also the inside of the restaurant feels like your best friend's warm and cozy home. It's adorable! Mr. G wanted to make it a neighborhood place. He purposely did not use the space to advertise for Gaga. So you'd never know it was affiliated with her in terms of her art but the warm, loving and family-oriented side of Gaga is what the restaurant is totally all about. <3

Ahhh..that's awesome! I have a similar pic as I went there in October. Great food, good atmosphere (and yes I even met Cynthia!). Next time you have to go in and eat.
