I dont feel that MIA has any relevance in this matter. Im just curious as to why someone like Julian Assange invited her to speak with him. What piece of vital information does this man have that Gaga has to meet with him? And to what part of her activism is this related to? I dont know, and yes Gaga can do what she pleases, blah blah blah, but to what end was this meeting necessary. Obviously it was important to Gaga for her to let everyone of us know that she was meeting with him. I dont know what journalistic purposes means to her, but to me its just another way for her to get some attention! I love her dearly but I dont always agree with everything she does or says. She may be pure of heart but she is young and naive when it comes to issues relating to freedom of speech and how its used in our country. I dont think that Mr. Assange had good intentions with his wikileaks but thats just my opinion. Im like most others in this country and we are only told so much by our government.
