hello monsters :) I realise many of you have probably already thought this through, but i just wanted to say how completely disgusting it is the way gays and lesbians are treated. I'm not myself, but to me it's just sickening. last week (or was it the week before?) in our parliament here in australia, one of our senators publicly compared gay marriage to beastiality. granted, he did get kicked off the front bench, but the fact that he thoguht it was socially acceptable and reasonable to say and think that is just terrible. In the past i've also heard people (from my own family) say that gay marriage will lead to foursome bi marriages, same-sex marriages between non-gay partners for financial benefits, and incest. The point is, I honestly can't see how anyone can even make that link in their minds. It obviously won't hurt or affect anyone except the people who now have their rights fulfilled and equal to the rest of us, so why even bother fighting it? what do my monsters think? should people be allowed to say this, or am i just over-reacting?
