Working so hard on something but it barely gets noticed

That always happens to me and I bet it happens to a lot of you guys too. Working so hard on fan art or other things but no one notices it. It sucks.

Sadly you have to work for your it to be noticed, ask people to look at it. That's what I did for my Fame garment concept design. First time I uploaded I didn't tell anyone to see it and I only got 11 likes so I uploaded it again this time I worked my but off getting it noticed I stayed up all night on this website and looking at everyone else's work and commenting and leaving the link to my design also in the chat every once in a while I'd post the link. Slowly I started getting more and more likes. I worked at that for 2 nights It peaked at 428 likes and went into the hot list, Gaga might of seen it but i don't know for sure. So if you wanna get noticed then be persistent.

yeah i saw people suggesting forums which I think would be a great idea. I hate it when you don;t get proper notifications when people reply to you and stuff.

I've sent a few notes to Backplane letting them know how frustrating it is to use LM as a discovery system, and simple solutions. No response from them ever. I know they're busy, but... Maybe LM is mostly for guys to cruise each other? It's starting to feel like that is what it's optimized for. Artists finding each others art is very difficult here. For example a notification won't be created for me if you leave a reply to this comment I'm leaving you. Strange!!!!

I have made some feedback comments about setting up forums etc so that people's work DOES get noticed and not lost in an endless stream of posts. I would rather see the art than some of the crap that gets voted up all the time. Maybe reply on the feedback tab? <3
