Dear Mother Monster, I owe you an apology. I allowed myself to listen to people who said bad things about you. I allowed myself to have a closed mind and I allowed myself to believe that my opinion was always right. I misjudged you. You, however, never judged me. And when I finally allowed myself to open my eyes, I saw your smiling face and open arms. I'm technically old enough to be YOUR mother ... but you have become MINE. You have inspired me to be a loving, caring person ... and I've now become a mini-Mother-Monster to some kids who unfortunately can't count on their actual mothers to treat them with love and respect.
