So I've been reading lately that some of you still have some questions about the monster pit and how it works, so I thought I'm gonna tell you about my experiences at the BTWB in cologne. The procedure can vary a bit so don't nail me down on that ;) Me and my friend arrived at the arena at 7.30am. Some people have already been there. Then someone approached us (he was the keyholder) and gave us a list were we signed in and then he wrote a number on our hand. After that we waited for about an hour and then security gave us their permission to line up in the monster pit line. From now on it was just waiting. We had a lot of fun and were listening to Gaga's songs. One guy who was behind us in the line wanted everyone to learn a choreography for marry the night that he came up with :) he wanted us to performe it during the show as a surprise for Gaga. so he stood up and asked everyone to join but unfortunately not many people wanted to, so we ended up being like 10 people dancing to his choreography in front of everyone else :) but we still had a lot of fun doing it and his choreography was pretty cool :) the guys from the security were also very friendly and were always down for some jokes. one of them even tried to sing pokerface through his bullhorn. It was hilarious XD At about 6.30pm security told us that they will start to let us in in about an hour and they would only let 30 people at a time inside and that we should start to get ready. We had to leave all food and drinks behind because it was not permitted to take them inside. Then at 7.30pm (or maybe it was later, I don't know anymore) they started to let people in. We have been in the second group. At the security check they gave us our wristbands for the monster pit, validated our tickets and checked our bags. Inside we had to wait at another security checkpoint for another 15 minutes before we got permission to enter the pit. I hope this little experience report helped you to answer some of you questions. If you still have some ask me and I'll do my best to answer them :) I think the number system that has been on a few concerts in europe now, should be implemented for every show. It's really fair and no one has to be scared to lose their spot in line if they go to the restrooms or they go to get food or drinks.
