i think mother monster would be disappointed in this. this is anti-body revolution. youre basically saying being an extreme is not okay. umm correct me if im wrong but isnt gaga considered an extreme in our society?? i dont understand why everyone thinks this picture is okay. this is incredibly offensive and hurtful.
I look like the girl eating a burger but I eat very healthy and exercise. Thin can be unhealthy, fat can be fit. You can't judge a body always from looks.
Haha. When looking at my situation I find this picture really amusing. Other people might look at me and categorize me as the X girl on the left. I definitely eat and feel like the X girl on the right. In reality I'm probably the green check girl in the middle. It's even interesting that I'm deciding to rate myself while looking at this picture.... as many people who look at this picture are probably doing the same thing. Many people who are the green check girl in the middle are looking at this thinking they are the X girl on the right. Even those who are the X girl on the left are probably thinking they are the X girl on the right. If you are a happy individual, even if you are actually the X girl on the left or the right, probably think you are the green check girl in the middle........ Therefore, why not just keep the pic of the green check girl and cut out the X girls. It would most likely eliminate all this confusion and give someone a clear picture of what they should strive for WITHOUT degrading them for being in their current state, whatever that may be. *my2cents*
I don't think it's so much about acceptance of obesity of an eating disorder as it is to STAY HEALTHY. A body revolution is about acceptance. Look at Gaga, she gained some pounds, but she is still within the "green area" of a healthy weight. The other two, no matter what people say regarding acceptance, are not healthy. Everyone should be proud of themselves...within reason. Let's just make it about overall wellness.
People can eat whatever they want and still be beautiful. This is insinuating that because I eat burgers that I'm not in the check-marked, green, good zone. EVERYONE is beautiful and worth it, and health is important, yes, but you don't have to eat exclusively what's in the green zone in this picture to be healthy.
Theres such a message that needs to be sent out there though. Healthy is sexy. If you're technically overweight and still healthy (like me), rock on. If you're 5'2" & my weight you're not living your life to the fullest because you're not taking care of your body and you could be hurting your health.
