Why Is Everyone Painting Like Helen Green Now?

Okay, ever since it was announced that Helen was going to be part of HAUS, everyone tried painting like her, and her style. The REASON she was chosen, is because her unique style, and her creativeness. She might have inspired you to draw like her, but remember, it's way better to have your own style. If you're trying to get noticed by Gaga, copying someone else's style is not a good thing for you. Individuality is better! If you really want to get noticed, do something UNIQUE. Think out of the box and maybe Gaga will notice it. We all need to be original and creative.

It's ok to try your hand at a style an artist has developed. I guarantee you that Green's style is not 100% her own, maybe not even a majority of her own. It's by exploration of different styles that we achieve our own.

Well I try to do my own thing but I guess that kinda drawings are gettin all the atention today so, hope she'll notice me oneday, meanwhile i'll try to keep on gettin better

you're right, but i think helen also inspired me. i used to draw another style but i tried drawing something a bit similar to hers (instead of manga-style) and discovered i was better at it. so i think it's okay to take a bit of inspiration or ideas as long as it doesn't stop being unique. :)

lol thank god i wasnt the only one to think this too. People need to just do their own thing. just because helen green got into the haus for her style doesnt mean that what validates u getting into the haus too.

Many are young and don't have their own style yet. Copying is the sincerest form of flattery. Nobody is asking little Monsters why they dress up as Gaga. See it as compliment towards Helen - even if it can be a tad irritating to see all the Helen-interpretations flashing up on the front page.
