71 percent of Lady Gaga's Twitter followers are fake!?

I'm not completely sure whether this is true or not, but according to a survey conducted by a media company StatusPeople said that 71% of Lady Gaga's Twiter followers may be fake. Now it's not the survey which upset me because I do or don't believe in it, is some of the articles I read on Google News that upset me. One person even wrote "Ha! Sorry Gaga you're obviously not the Twitter Queen, because now we see that you only have 8 million followers." To begin with, I never believed that all 29 million of Gaga's followers on Twitter are actually fans, one because I do know that a lot of people just follow a person because they are popular, not because they're a fan of the person's work, and loads of people just follow (or like concerning networks like Facebook) the person to spread hate. Another thing that got me upset about some of these articles is that they didn't take into any consideration 1) what fake means according to StatusPeople, a fake Twitter user includes inactive users like me (I'm a big fan of Gaga and when I joined Twitter I followed her, but last time I logged in was months ago, basically because I don't like how Twitter works) and I'm sure they have loads of other fans like this. Fake also includes spammers, and people who they call 'consumers' who follow a person mainly to get input on what they are doing, but they never give output (like posts or any information) of their own. StatusPeople say that everything else is considered a real Twitter user. 2) That StatusPeople stressed the word 'may' on the figure they survey gave, because obviously the application they are using is new and not fully developed and could have miscalculated. 3) And I bet if they conduct this survey on any other highly followed person on Twitter (Justin Bieber for example) it would give similiar results. This post is really to speak out against false or bad journalism, because really whenever somebody puts up something on the internet everybody believes it :P So this definitely does not mean that Gaga has a 'small following' just because of something like Twitter (because she is now being compared to other artist on Twitter) even considering she's already performed for 828,000 people + on her Born This Way Ball (a fact from how many tickets were sold, and the tour is not even half way done). Well maybe the people just like to look at Gaga's posts when they go on Twitter that does not make them "fake followers" that is just ridiculous that people think just because an account isn't active that it isn't a true follower or whatever. Those people are full of BS to say that.

Typing 101 needed! ... Or for notoriety? One must always question the soure. A percentage of >70% sounds unrealistic. Just look at her record sales, Fame is highest grossing perfume to date, etc. of course, I didn't care about statistical reality on Fame as I love the product. See, how something can be manipulated so easily. A record company wants sales not inventories. Search Wikipedia for a nicely done table to see her actual nominatuions and awards. Has some nice history also. I still believe that she is one of the most popular celebrities. Why would Vogue place her on important date of their Vogue printing. Something about in business for over125 years or dome thing like that. Why would they want her if she didn't represent a changing reader source. What a cover to be on an magazine that has been her for anton? Remember, Dity Laundry, if not look it up on I Tunes. Just listen to the lyrics. Money is made off of unusual or lies. People really don't like that old case of reading boring history or reading something that doesn't perk their interest. I just know that I like her, and I don't care if antone kmows it. Thanks

Statistics! I have 15 university hours of statistics. It is a look at me. It is just that numbers don't always reflect the reality of studied subjects if you do t have an accurate sorece of numbers. Does this reporting agency have a reliability or just throwing out numbers or % to gain attention for greed or.

Statistics! Jake, you are making a statement and inquiring if it's true or nonsense, yes? I have had 15 university hours of statistics. Hopefully, no one manipulates the actual results, but one can make statistics do anything especially for money. First of all, I would question the source. Are they reliable, reputable one, etc. I really believe that there is so much envy and greed, that everyone wants to make a euro, dinero, dollar, etc. for true or not true info. I still think Lady Gaga has millions of fans or littlemonsters! How could record sales be so high. A record company wants the money, not songs in their inventory. What about all her winnings. Go to Wikipedia and search her. You'll find a nicely done chart to see her achievements, history, etc. winnings don't lie. So let others think what the like, until further notice, I'm with her!! What makes me upset is that people believe this Shit!! Gaga-gossip everywhere on the internet, wether its cuz of Madonna and Perez Hilton, or ridiculous things like this! How would an artist with only 26million real fans, sell ALL the btwb tickets in less than 60 seconds.

Actually, when you look at Gaga's followers, you see many people that follow 16 people and have 0 followers. All people with 0 followers and about 5+ following are considered fake. They might not have been bought, could be little monsters who want to make Gaga twitter queen and make thousands of accounts?

It isn't real. They said 31% of Gaga's followers are fake, 40% are inactive and 29% are good. And even if it was real, Katy Perry has 26% good followers, which means Gaga is still the twitter queen. Please, ignore those fake-minds and the things they create. It is how they try to get a "famous" person down. "Gaga has fake followers, Gaga covered Like a Prayer" All these stuff are created, I mean "made up", by those fake-minds.
