Be Individuals, Monsters! Not "mini-Gagas" or Gaga clones

Hi Monsters, I'm starting to get a little frustrated by the lack of individuality expressed on this site. It seems like everything Gaga likes, a lot of monsters like, force themselves to like, or pretend to like. Examples: Gaga likes nutella....you like nutella Gaga loves her mother...you "love" her mother, wish her happy birthday even though you don't even know her or have never met her. Gaga likes Princess Diana....you like Princess Diana Gaga's friend is Tara...you now like Tara, follow her, kiss her a$$ Gaga wears furs (fake or real)...you gush all over her and rip down anyone who disagrees with her fashion choices. I am certain Gaga respects Monsters who think for themselves and have their own interests. It's really starting to creep me out how some of you are literally blindly obsessed with Gaga to the point that you're losing yourselves in the process.

It's the nature of young people to want to emulate their idols. I don't know that they aren't being individualistic. How old are you? When I think back on when I was a teenager, I know that I loved everything about The Beatles and wanted to do most things that they did. It seems to me that this fanbase in particular are for the most part, highly creative, intelligent and open minded. Perhaps you shouldn't be so hard on them? :)

I cannot speak about anybody else's thoughts. I respect what everyone says unless it's like really inappropriate. I just know that I do my very best to comment on the individual's topic. Oh, yes, I do mention Lady Gaga but in terms of how much the web site has improved, although still much to do, and how she loves her fans. I do not make her a focal point. It is about the person that has posted or any comments. Of course, unless thr person wants to talk Gagaism. This is just me and how I see it. I do my best to look at the individual. Thanks for posting such an important issue Aries Monster. Take care, stay safe. I always learn so much from all the littlemonsters web site. I look forward everyday to do my best to support, be positive, etc. looks like that we need more focus on the members of this community! Really like yout ARTPOP name, looks great!

I agree with this, though the tone is a bit 'aggressive' so people may get annoyed with you.. Though I totally agree with the 'be yourself' aspect because I have several (monster) friends who are very 'individual' but then are followers of a different person and judgmental of people who are not like them.

I've loves Nutella since I was 12. I'm 24. The math says that was pr-Gaga. ;) I agree to an extent. As a performer myself, I like to base a lot of things on what Gaga has done but I also try to give it my own flair. (I made a vest reminiscent of her Fame era sequin dress with the triangle.... out of duct tape.)
