He's a great Dad, though i disagree with this attitude! The son shouldn't grow up misrecognizing his sexual identity. Being homosexual is right as much as being heterosexual is, in this way your putting a lot of confusion up in his mind.

I love fathers like this. Thank you for bringing more faith and love to the lgbt community

I completely agree that he is the Father of the Year. That child is so fortunate to have a father who would do this with him, and I wish my dad could have been like that. I would have loved it if he had threatened the kid who was sexually harassing me over the phone, or protecting me from the boys at school. I would have loved it if he had had a chat with my brother when he would tell me I'm fat instead of telling me to call him scrawny. My mom would try to help me, but she didn't do any good. My dad could have had an impact, but he's nothing like the dad in the article. Good for him.
