"THAT'S SO GAY"

Usually people use the phrase “that’s so gay” to express that something is: lame wack stupid idiotic ugly weird etc. Well let’s change that meaning, let’s use the phrase “that’s so gay” to express that something is: Amazing Cool Pretty Radical kick-ass. bitchin’ etc.

When I wrote this it was just to instill the idea in you guys head.. You don't have to go calling everything gay to prove your point..I would love it if my words would stick with you the nexxt time you hear someone damning the gays ..&that makes a difference to make them think twice before they decide to talk like that.

My University (University of Johannesburg in South Africa) is about to start an arts festival called "THATSOGAY." It's really awesome to see such support for the gay community within the universities in South Africa. Actually before this, gay meant cheerful, so the meaning is already there, it has just fallen into disuse.
