Back To school...bullying is for losers

Hey guys, i no some of u r going bk to school and is scared, not only cause of a new year but bullying. i just wanna say bullying is for losers and if u r being bullied, plz speak up! when i was in school, i used to b teased because i was shy....i dropped out my senior year cause of that and i was failing. im not saying drop out...plz dont do that!! all u have to do is be urself, talk to a teacher, principal, parent, i remember when i was being teased by a gay kid..yes he was gay..but nothing wrong with being gay dont take it the wrong way..but anyways i told a teacher, she talked with him and he stopped teasing me. see? thats all it takes to stop a bully or anyone who teases u! plz reply about whos bullying u, and i will b very happy to help! <3 remember stay strong monsters! b brave! paws up! <3 oh one more thing, yes it is REALLY hard to speak up sometimes but u have to do something about it. <33333

This is a great post! :) Iam going back into education at age 29 this year! When I went to school years ago I got bullied through every year I had to go to school. I was very shy and when I finally spoke up to my mum, she told me to just ignore it and the bullies would get bored of it and stop. It was a subject that no one talked about at that time and my mum didn't want to see how much i suffered. When I finally spoke to a teacher about and they spoke to my mum, they came to the conclusion that I was just attention seeking! So for all the years that I went to school,I was bullied on the way to school, at school and on the way home. It was horrible and I dont know how I managed to do it for so long. My grades were terrible and it ruined everything I wanted to achieve. Now I am going back to college in the hope to at least achieve some of my dreams. I am really nervous about going back but I know now that it wasnt my fault that I got bullied. xx

This is an excellent example of the kind of words that have an impact in people's thoughts and hearts. Many victims of bullies don't speak up and it turns up to be worse, so please speak to your parents, teachers, and also your principal. If ever you are scared or in doubt of yourself , listen to Hair; This song is about your personality and how no one can ever take that away from you. So please if you are bullied please telll a teacher and if you see someone getting bullied, please fight for them and protect them.

Exactly! People need to start standing up for themselves. Good for you that you did that! I'm proud of you (even of we have never met). At least in a way you see a good side of what happened to you.

What a great synopsis on how to take care if you are bullied. School is just a haven for those losers/bullies. You are so right. Speak up. Be brave. You have to stop the cycle. I have always found bullies to really be scared if they don't have a slew of fellow bullies. They love to get someone alone. Whatever you decide to do, be safe. Good advice. Great discussion posting. Let's know how you are doing, okay. I care about you. I feel pain from just reading your experience. Take care.

ITA! *HUGS* I dropped out of school, too. Actually, I was forced to drop out by my teacher. I was being bullied by other students AND teachers. I stood up for myself and for others, and in retaliation I was forced out of school. I got my GED and got my college degree. I continue to defend others who have been bullied.
