To all who criticize certain Little Monsters on this site for calling Gaga "mom" etc.

I'm a 24 year old woman and I have realized that even though I may not behave like everybody else, it does not mean I have the right to put down or CRITICIZE and swear at kids and young teenagers on here that call Gaga "mom" or her parents their "grandparents"...... The age group on this site is anywhere from 10 years old and up and LETS THE KIDS HAVE SOME FUN. When I was 13 and 14, heck even 17, I fanned out to whoever I loved at the time and did some wild things and said weird things that my friends didn't understand. LET THEM LIVE THEIR OWN LIVES and if it makes them happy to refer to her as Mom or her parents as grandparents, they have every right to do that. Stop the bullying. INTOLERANCE IS NOT RIGHT. PERIOD.

I don't care how old I am, I will still refer to this woman as my mother. Gaga taught me things that my mother never did. So for all the monsters who were given this support from Gaga refer to her as a 'mom.' And although she hasn't given birth to any of us, I still prefer to call her 'mom.'

Thanks Desra =) I'm 16 (in a couple days) and I call Gaga my mom (actually I call her Mommy lol) because I love her like a mom and she *IS* my Mother Monster! I don't get why some little monsters are so concerned about it, my biological mom doesn't take offense to it, so what's the big deal?

I couldn't agree with you more Desra. I m 31 I love Gaga and I am glad she made this web site for her fans. If ppl have a problem with what goes on here they need to delete themselves then the problem be solve. Yes we did some weird things and so did our parents so what is the big deal... Let them have there time now, we as older fans should respect their rights. First Amendment freedom of speech.

Okay, so allow me to raise the bar here. I'm 27. I'm not really YOUNG young. But I see Gaga as the mother of my inner Monster. The part of me that was born brave, bor THIS way, just a couple of years back. My own mother made me in flesh and blood, but Gaga made me in character. That's what MM means to me.

I'm 19, and have been calling her Mother Monster, mom, etc etc for over a year now.. It's partially because she kindof was a mother figure for awhile, while I went through issues with my real mother. It's really helped, but I do find calling her parents our "grandparents" awkward though :c

it's a term of endearment, people shouldn't take it so seriously. Anyways, although I love my own mother very much, Gaga might be a more positive influence than some people will ever have! let people be<3

I never even call her Mother Monster. It's "Gaga" to me. I think Mother Monster is a title she's placed upon herself, but its not something that I feel the need to call her. I think its strange when people call her Mom or Mommy... but, I understand where it comes from. It just gives off that "elementary school kids accidentally calling their teacher 'Mom'" vibe to me.

Exactly! I personally don't want to call her mum, but that's my choice. It's also their choice if they *do* want to! Acceptance is what Gaga is all about! <3

I don't call Lady Gaga my mom, but she's a better mom than my mom, who is essentially the opposite of Born This Way incarnate.

She calls herself mother monster... mom is just a short way of saying it. NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!
